April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4th in 1995. When she was in the 7th grade she began taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her passion to write songs. When she was 12 years old, April composed her first single Different. In her 14th year, April devoted much of her time to creating and playing with songs. The songwriting began alongside her father and her dad in NY and LA soon after. April featured other topics in her hit song"Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt with things like peer pressure disabilities or even teen suicidal ideas. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer with a growing following. She is a partner with the popular brand Ilia together, as well as being an expert in the field of lifestyle. The truth is that she was born with no left hand and that creates her unique. However, this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. The account on Instagram of Lockhart doesn't deny the fact that she has a disability. It also doesn't emphasize the issue. What is the message? The message? That we are all multifaceted, and that our identity and physical bodies aren't what they seem. It's not my intention to let that be the only thing that defines me. I don't wish to become a disability influencer where that's all I talk about because there are other things about me Lockhart speaks via video from her house in Nashville. My day-today life is not directly affected by disability. I go about my regular, everyday life and find my own solutions to problems. It's a big aspect of my existence, so it is important to discuss the subject. Lockhart encourages us to keep striving to be self-accepting. She has been through times when she felt insecure about the way she dressed and displayed her arms. Now she wears whatever outfit she wishes and shares pictures on Facebook with pride. The journey itself is the most important thing. I don't know that you ever arrive she says about self-love. It's a journey, I don't think you ever arrive. It's essential to have those in your life who know and appreciate you. They'll be the ones to ask your: What are you fret about?
