Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I was a gruelling 12 hour days cleaning floors and tearing down wallpaper with one baby strapped to my back, and others climbing in the playpen. Ha! It was beginning to seem logical, however it wasn't quite finished. This was going take money, effort, and my favorite shopping for furniture to decorate this home. My three sons and I looked for treasures hidden going to estate sales in order to help keep my spending under control. We used to go on a weekly basis of walking around auctions and garage sales on the weekend as well as purchase various of pieces old and newly made. It was my job to spend the day in the driveway either painting or sanding. The look was similar to it... This is when my interest in restoration of furniture started. When our home was finished, I didn't want to put it down! On the streets, I rented a small space and sold some objects. It was possible to expand the market because I had numerous pieces I needed. My house was transformed into a space in which I held open houses where up to 1,000 people could view the items on my first floor and purchase the items. Growing Days was created in this home. My business was not only flourishing, but I was also growing my sweet family too. In some ways, I found the ideal way to balance being a mom and launching my business. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. My beautiful Nora came into the world in 2013 and was our fourth child. My business's direction was fantastic, but I had to get some down time. I got away from the old furniture in order to spend the time I needed with my family. That was exactly what I needed at that time. It wasn't until a couple of months when the phones began to ring. The people who called me were needing help with their interior decorating and home remodeling. Many of the people calling me were from those who visited my home at one of the furniture open house events. I began taking on clients at a time going at my own pace but it didn't take time before I was running several accounts, and I was operating the complete business of home remodeling. Had you told me my company would become the premise for a DIY Network show, I likely would have laughed. As I reflect at it, it has made me laugh.
